December Birthday Celebration!!!!!!
Last night, we celebrated our plethora of December family birthdays: Peter’s: December 13th; Mom’s: December 15th; and Maia’s: December 20th. We had a marvelous time - even though the oven blew a thermocouple which resulted in a 3 hour cook time for the prime rib standing roast instead of the scheduled 1 1/2 hours. As Maia stated, we basically cooked the roast at a crockpot temperature. Which was fine - it just meant we had more time to drink more wine!!!!!
