The Soggy Emerald City and Slat Rat

Seattle and all of the Pacific Northwest is under a major storm warning. Which means rain, rain, rain, and wind, wind, wind. Fortunately this evening, there was a short let up on the wind front and even though it was still raining hard, I was able to go for a run. I avoided my usual waterfront route - too windy. Instead I ran to the Seattle Center and then did a bit ol’ loop around the Space Needle, the Music Experience, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Key Arena, and the Pacific Science Center. By the time I made it back to my hotel, I was one soggy, squishy, and soaked Slat Rat. But it was still a blast.

This apres run picture really doesn’t do justice to my soggy state, but it’s still kind of fun:

I’m staying at the Hotel Andra and this was my “amenity”. Gummy Fish!!! Yum!!!
