Catching up After a Loooong Absence
My blog public - all three of them: Aunt Jane, Pete, and Da Ski Boy - have been clamoring for a blog entry. I have been beyond remiss for the past month. I suppose I can plead a very schedule. But Peter is convinced that my blog posting laxness is a direct result of over-tweeting. He could be right.
The past month has been an absolute blast. We’re in the midst of one of our most beautiful Falls ever. Peter, Tyge, Echo, and I have been out almost everyday - running or walking. It’s like a gift from the Gods. Each weekend we run, we grill, we drink wine, and we go to an Anchorage Concert Association event. Last night we saw the phenomenal Spanish Harlem Orchestra - a hot latin jazz big band. Last weekend it was Cantus, two weeks prior to that was Esperanza Spalding and the week before that, Vienna Tang. We’re feeling very cultured. And Anchorage does seem to be turning out in droves for these concerts which makes it even better.
I spent this week in Seattle on webby business - I’ve moved into a new big web related project which is going to be awesome. I’m totally psyched. And of course, while in Seattle, I had a delectable dinner at Flying Fish with Scott and Kim. The wine, a superb 2006 Matthews’ Claret deserves special mention.
So - I will endeavor to be a more frequent, regular blogger. Life has just been soooo good!
Here are several pics from the last month:
A sun dappled Echo out at Kincaid on one of our runs. I wasn’t kidding about our gorgeous Fall.

Echo graduated from Advanced Puppy Class. Here she is resting on my legs during the last class.
I call this, “Sit Stay a la Rothko”.
Lucky, a Cocker Chow cross is on the left, Echo in the middle, and Juneau,
an absolutely adorable German Shepherd Dog is on the right.
Hello. I am
Well now I feel special as a longtime faithful reader.
The first picture is gorgeous!! I do understand the busy though.
Carol - you are definitely a longtime faithful reader. One of the very very first. Right after my Mom and Peter.
You need to get hold of Arbitron and let them know your ratings are up by 25%. You forgot to include me in your audience.
Well - I should have been a bit more clear in my post: 3 of my 5 loyal readers were clamoring for a entry.
I was thinking about writing to you asking if you were still going to write here. Does that count?
