Alaskans, Sarah, and Tanning Beds
Evidently, Governor Palin had a tanning bed installed in the Governor’s mansion shortly after she took office. Various news outlets are having fun with that. But there are those who think that it must be de rigor for Alaskans to own tanning beds. Ha!!!!
As I commented on the the New York Times site, I’ve lived in Alaska for over 43 years. I don’t have a tanning bed and no one I know has a tanning bed. Come February, all of us Caucasian Alaskans sport a skin tone along the lines of Beluga Whale white.
