Termination Dust on July 24?!!!!!!

Well, there certainly is a significant temperature and weather difference between Anchorage and Truckee/Reno. Yesterday on my way from Truckee to the Reno Airport, I stopped to do a 2 mile geocaching hike in the canyon on along the Truckee River. It was 90 degrees with a blazing sun. I even got sunburned.

Fast forward to this morning in Anchorage. It’s 47 degrees, pouring rain, the Daily News says that we’re on our way to our coldest summer ever recorded, and there’s termination dust in the mountains!!!!! Gads!

Here’s a blurry (shot through a window screen) picture of snow in the mountains.
