The Slat Rat in the New York Times!

I made the New York Times. In the Arts Section. A year ago.

I just discovered the article yesterday. I was puttering around in Google Reader and ran across it. I’m stunned. I’m a published architecture critic, in the New York Times no less, and I had no idea!!!!!

The article, published in March 2007, was about the new wing on the Denver Art Museum designed by Daniel Libeskind. If you scroll down to the bottom of the first page, you’ll discover this insightful commentary:

A blogger who bills herself as “Steph” of the Slat Rat Chronicles called the museum “an architectural wonder,” though she said the planted trees “interfere with the lines of the building.

ta da!!!!! Who knew?!!!!!
