I took this shot yesterday from the plane with my cell phone (yes, I turned my cell phone on - briefly). The view out the window was brilliant. This picture is the northern part of the Copper River basin - home of those fabulous Copper River Kings.

Yesterday, it started snowing at 8:00 AM and didn’t stop until late this morning - we set a new snowfall record for April 5th. The snow really started sticking last night and this morning we were greeted with 8 inches of new snow on the ground.
