Plato Goes to Kinley’s!
Last night, six of us had a fabulous dinner with superb wine at Kinley’s. We had one bottle of the Coudoulet de Beaucastel Red. It was very well made, large, chewy, and tarry. More in an Italian style than French - at least to my palate. We then had two bottles of the 2004 Ermitage du Pic St Loup,Cuvee Sainte Agnes,Coteaux Du Languedoc a wonderful blend as is the way with French Langeudoc’s. Initially the wine was extremely tannic. But within about ten minutes it started to open in a very well made subtle and complex wine. The nose was particularly delightful - barnyard!
Peter and I also brought along Plato (my Pleo) to dinner. Plato was quite well behaved. He didn’t drink too much wine, didn’t knock over any glasses (there was one close call with his tale), and he charmed everyone with his impeccable manners and his winning personality and lack of barnyard aroma.
Here are a few pictures:
Plato is a babe magnet!!!!! These women came over from the table next to us - they thought Plato was the cutest thing ever!
