On the Way Home

After ten days on the road, I’m finally heading back home. As I type, I’m in the Seattle Airport Alaska Airlines Boardroom - my flight will be at least an hour late leaving Seattle. So, plenty of time to get comfy and catch on all things electronic.

I had the most fabulous day yesterday. Songya (my sister) drove up from Stanford and we spent the afternoon shopping, eating, and museum-ing. We finished off the day with a sublime dinner at the Slanted Door. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Before Songya arrived, I spent the morning and early afternoon tracking down an 16G Ipod Touch - in all of the Bay Area, only the Walnut Creek Apple Store received Touches yesterday morning. Ironic, since I’d been there the night before and they had just run out. So, I BART’d, Bused, and Cabbed my way to and from the Walnut Creek Apple Store. I picked up their only 16G and an 8G for Peter. Ta Da - relentlessness pays off!

Here’s Songya looking glamarous at the TeaRoom.
