Victoria Beckham Style Guide
A surprisingly good article in the LA Times on Victoria Beckham, her style, and LA. I particularly liked her style guide - it contains rock solid good advice. Although to be honest, I’m not built or dress in a manner that would require me to worry about this bit of advice:
However you’re built, be mindful of the rule that if you get your boobs out, put your legs away and vice versa. I guarantee you will look better and feel a lot more confident and comfortable.
I also like this quote. It’s spot on true:
Looking effortless is actually fashion code for “this involved lots of thought” and it’s a tragic truth that this generally is the best strategy.
I love the phrase “it’s a tragic truth”. She either has a great ghost writer or she is much more intelligent than current crop of Hollywood publicity seeking train wrecks such as Brittany or Paris.
