The Finale - WOW!
I just finished Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. Wow - what an ending! Stupendous - the final 100 pages were unbelievable - twists and turns continually unfolded. What an epic. I honestly think the J.K. Rowling weaved the absolute perfect close to a stunning series. This was not a Soprano’s-like ending. This was the real deal.
My theories regarding Dumbledore’s death were spot on. And Alix’s sense regarding the character with the initials NL were also remarkably prescient.
BTW - the epilogue was a wonderful touch.

The summer between college and grad school (2000) I worked at Scholastic doing some software work. I was given an advanced copy of one of the books, which I sent to my boyfriend at the time’s brother. He lives in New Zealand and felt so cool having the American version of the book. So cute
Coming home late Friday night, my bus drove past the Scholastic store and a bunch of people were outside wearing cloaks. It was a little eerie, to say the least.
