The Cable Show Continues
Today was Day 3 of the Cable Show (if you count Sunday’s special OCAP seminar). Unfortunately, I hit sort of a little bump in the road on the whole surgery recuperation front - too much standing/walking - just not good for someone with recent abdominal work. The ol’ Slat Rat abdominal region is now quite uncomfortable. A good thing there’s advil. But, as a result of the overdoing thing, I’m also very very tired and wobbly. So I didn’t do very much conferencing today.
However, I did walk the show floor. If you’ve never been to a major cable show, it’s definitely quite the deal. All the major networks and cable channels have ginormous booths. It’s truly entertainment to the max.
John Elway was even on the floor this afternoon - he was signing copies of his new book in the Sprint booth. I must say, he was looking tan and prosperous.
