All You Need is Love!

Tonight I caught Cirque de Soleil’s, “Love” - their acrobatic, musical, wonderful celebration of the Beatles. What a total and complete blast. Love is not the out and out acrobatic jaw dropper that Ka is. But there is still plenty of show (I loved the trampolines) and the music, well the music is the Beatles and it is fabulous.

I think the Cirque de Soleil folks should publish a book or make a documentary or both entitled, “The Physics of Cirque de Soleil”.

Love is a little more performance art and a little less acrobatic… we really enjoyed it too. You gotta give kudos to a Vegas stage show that manages to incorporate a half pipe and roller blades. :)

What was your favorite number? Simple as it was, I *adored* Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

You weren’t anywhere near the exploding back pack?

  3. Steph responds:

Let’s see - I thought Lucy in the Sky was great! For pure acrobatics and fun, Revolution was good. Plus I loved the VW bugs!

And the exploding backpack in the parking garage was right next to my hotel.
