Kentucky Derby in Vegas
How could I resist - Derby Day in Vegas! I’ve never formally bet on any sporting event - I had no real clue. But I made my way up to the betting window and with a little bit of help from the staff, I placed both a trifecta bet and a matchup bet. And of course, I completely struck out. But it was still a total blast. Tons of folks yelling and screaming duing the race. Heck, even “My Old Kentucky Home” got a huge cheer.
Here’s a picture I took of the betting window. Just after I took this shot, I was told by a casino worker that cameras will not permitted. Oh - I guess I should have known that one.
