Good article/photo sequence on Major League Baseball’s On-Line operations.

As both a certified geek and a certifiable baseball nut, I found CNET’s article on MLB’s on-line operations totally fascinating. Everything you wanted to know from the inner workings of those in-game game logs to MLB’s use of Service Oriented Architecture is covered.

Living in Alaska does not make one too terribly conscious of “black-out” rules. However, they’re complicated and need to take tricky issues such as mobility into account.

Definitely good stuff.
