Lagoon Classic Update
Before I headed off to surgery, I took the picture below at 7:15 AM this morning just as the sun was rising. The “ice” you see behind Tyge is actually not Lagoon Ice but instead is early morning thin ice on top of about of foot of water that is turn resting on top of the Lagoon Ice.
Today was not nearly as warm as yesterday. The high was just 44 degrees. So not quite as much melting. This year’s Lagoon Ice Classic should be quite interesting!

Actually, Tyge hates to have his picture taken. He’s totally looking away from the camera on purpose. If he realized how fetching he looks, he’d certainly quit with that maneuver.
