Well - today’s national news day was totally dominated by the Juneau-Douglas school district-free speech case “Bong HIts 4 Jesus” that was heard this morning before the Supreme Court. Alaska being Alaska, we know several of the lawyers on the school district side - but fortunately, not Ken Starr. I have to say, if I didn’t know anything about the case, I’d be prejudiced against the school district just because of Ken Starr.

The Ski Boy was the lawyer for the Anchorage School District a number of years ago. So, I have a tutor on the ins and outs of the arguments. But, I have to say, they don’t resonate with me. The kid was not on school grounds. And then the business of the “pro-drug” message. Oh for cryin’ out loud - “Bong Hits 4 Jesus?” (Where’s an eyeroll emoticon when you need one?)
