Notes on a Scandal
Last night, the Ski Boy and I saw Notes on a Scandal. In a word, “wow!”. Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett are amazing and the twists and turns make you dizzy. Not mention the whole creepy seduction thing.
I absolutely loved it! However, when the Ski Boy selected the movie, he thought it was drama with comedic overtones - or a comedy with dramatic overtones. Poor guy. This movie started out in a somewhat sketchy emotional location and with each twist and each turn, it took another step down into a morass of unbelievable and totally delicious bad intentions. It was great!
